Copycat Cheddar Bay Biscuits

Pillowy-soft, garlicky, cheesy biscuits!

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 1/2 sticks unsalted butter (divided)
  • 1 cup milk (whole or 2%)
  • 8 ounces sharp cheddar, shredded
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 450°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone liner.
  • Melt one stick of butter, either in a microwave or in a small pot on the stove. Combine with milk.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, sugar, garlic and salt. Add melted butter and milk and stir until just combined. Fold in cheese.
  • Drop by heaping tablespoons (a scant ¼ cup) onto baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
  • While biscuits are baking, melt remaining ½ stick of butter and stir in dried parsley.
  • Remove biscuits, bush with butter and serve warm. Enjoy!
