Copycat Cheddar Bay Biscuits
Pillowy-soft, garlicky, cheesy biscuits!

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon dried garlic
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 1/2 sticks unsalted butter (divided)
- 1 cup milk (whole or 2%)
- 8 ounces sharp cheddar, shredded
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
Preheat oven to 450°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone liner.
Melt one stick of butter, either in a microwave or in a small pot on the stove. Combine with milk.
In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, sugar, garlic and salt. Add melted butter and milk and stir until just combined. Fold in cheese.
Drop by heaping tablespoons (a scant ¼ cup) onto baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
While biscuits are baking, melt remaining ½ stick of butter and stir in dried parsley.
Remove biscuits, bush with butter and serve warm. Enjoy!
