1 1/2teaspoonscocoa powdernatural or Dutch is fine

1/2cupchocolate chips or nutsoptional
Instructions
Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Grease and line an 8x4 loaf pan with a parchment paper sling. (If you don’t have parchment, just grease the pan really well.)
In a small bowl, melt the chopped chocolate and the butter together. Mix in the brown sugar, egg and vanilla.
In a medium-sized bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder and salt. Pour the chocolate mixture over the top and mix until barely combined. If using, add in the chocolate chips and/or nuts and mix until just incorporated or until no streaks of flour remain.
Transfer mixture to loaf pan and bake at 325 degrees for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out mostly clean.
